Post Damage Rental Fee
Hey Gorgeous,
A dress inspection has been completed today on the dress you rented from us. An inspection is made before and after each rental for quality and assurance purposes.
The inspector did notice that there was some damage found on the dress you rented. We understand these things happen, however, we always encourage our customers to take advantage of the $10 dress rental insurance. This will cover you from any minor* wear and tear.
We would like to remind you, each damage gets assessed differently, with different repair costs associated, based on the damages done to the dress. Anything beyond fixing will result in a charge of the full retail value of the dress, which was listed in our Terms and Conditions.
Our Damage Policy*
Once the item is in your possession, please treat it with care. It is your responsibility to return each item back to us in the same condition it was given to you. (Each individual rental garment will be inspected and photographed prior to shipment for quality and assurance purposes and will be scanned and photographed once it gets sent back to our dry-cleaning facility for further inspection).
You are aware and agree that you are fully responsible for this rental, this means anyone you lend the dress to while under your rental care, any damages or stains, theft, fire are all under your care and you will be responsible to pay Rent A Dress back for the damages on top of the already paid rental fee.
If you either fail to return the item or return an item that is damaged, then you agree that Rent A Dress will charge you at the current retail value of the rented item, on top of the already paid rental fee.
If we are unable to charge the credit card on file to collect payment for the lost or damaged item, you agree to provide another form of payment and payback Rent A Dress for any damage to the item that was rented to you.
Our Insurance
Insurance policy is an add-on service we offer to those who want to be protected while wearing our rentals. Without having to worry about ruining the dress while in their possession. The fee will be $10 per rental. This fee will cover you for any minor repairs ex. (Broken zippers, missing buttons, minor rips, lost sequins, minor washable stains, etc.) If you opt-out of getting the insurance you will be responsible to pay back Rent A Dress for any (Broken zippers, missing buttons, minor rips, lost sequins, minor washable stains, etc.)
Anything beyond the minor wear and tear is not covered in this $10 insurance fee and will result in you having to pay back Rent A Dress at the retail value of the dress for any damage done to the item that was rented to you. This does not include any rental fees already paid.
